1. General

anice.io does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. The limited cookies and similar technologies used are explained below.

2. Essential Cookies

  • anice_rt — the authentication (refresh token) cookie that keeps your session secure. It cannot be read by JavaScript (httpOnly), is sent only over a secure connection (Secure), is closed to cross-site sending (SameSite), and is transmitted only to the authentication endpoints (/api/auth). It is essential to keep your session open and therefore does not require consent. It is deleted when you sign out.

Apart from essential cookies, no marketing, profiling, or third-party tracking cookies are used.

3. Preference Storage (localStorage)

  • Theme preference (light/dark).
  • Interface preferences such as the selected child profile.
  • Cookie/analytics consent preference.

These records are kept only on your device; they do not carry identity information to the server.

4. Optional: Analytics and Error Tracking

To improve the service, anonymous usage measurement (on our own servers) and technical error tracking (Sentry) are used. These tools are enabled only with your consent; your personal content (photos, memory text, phone) is not sent to these tools. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie notice or by clearing your browser data.
