Data Subject Request Form

Last updated: 30 August 2026

Article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK No. 6698) grants you a set of rights over your personal data. This page explains how to exercise them and how your request is handled.

1. Fastest route: from inside the app

The two most common requests need no form; they start immediately from the app:

  • Download my data — Settings → My data. Once processed, you get a link valid for 7 days to download a file containing all your memories and account information.
  • Delete my account — Settings → My data. Deletion takes effect automatically 7 days after your request; you can cancel within that window. When it expires, your memories, media and account are permanently deleted.

Neither action waits for operator approval. For other rights (rectification, information on transfers, objection) use the channels below.

2. Application channels

You can submit your request through any of the following:

  • Email: contact@anice.io — send it from the email address registered on your account (for identity verification).
  • Written application: Send a signed petition to our company address by registered mail or through a notary.
  • Registered electronic mail (KEP): Send it to our KEP address with a secure electronic signature.

The company's registered name, address, MERSİS and KEP details will be published on this page before launch.

3. What your application must contain

Under the Communiqué on Application Procedures to Data Controllers, your application must include:

  • Full name, and a signature if the application is in writing
  • Turkish ID number for Turkish citizens; nationality, passport number or identification number for others
  • Residential or business address for notification
  • Email address, telephone and fax number for notification, if any
  • The subject of your request — state clearly which right you wish to exercise
  • Any supporting information and documents

4. Response time and fees

  • Your request is concluded as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest, depending on its nature.
  • It is free of charge unless fulfilling it requires additional cost. Where a cost applies, the fee set by the Board's tariff may be charged.
  • If your request is rejected, the response is insufficient, or you receive no answer in time, you may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board within 30 days of learning the response and in any case within 60 days of your application.

5. A child's data

Most content stored in anice belongs to a child and is uploaded by a parent or guardian. A parent holding custody may request rectification or deletion of their child's content through the channels above; the request is processed after the custody relationship is verified.
